IDE Corp. offers a Strategic Instructional Needs Assessment to develop a baseline for instructional innovation and to provide a recommended action plan for supporting teachers with transformational professional development to meet the district/department/school's goals.
This process helps us build a relationship with the district, creating sustained changes to instruction. It also allows the teachers to see us first as listeners rather than outside experts.
The purpose of the Strategic Instructional Needs Assessment is to:
● Gain significant familiarity with the district/school/department’s student needs, structures, pedagogy, and curriculum in order to customize all consulting services to be strategically targeted to produce results.
● Allow the educational community to see IDE Corp. consultants first as listeners, as opposed to outside experts providing professional development without context, thus allowing us to forge a more productive partnership. The resultant report is intended to serve as a celebration of accomplishments and a roadmap to innovation. It is not intended to be evaluative in any way.
